Field Hockey Has Six Game Home Winning Streak Snapped by Franklin Pierce, 2-1

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley saw its six game home winning streak snapped by Franklin Pierce on Tuesday night by a 2-1 score.

Gracie Moore gave the Falcons an early 1-0 lead with her 11th goal of the season 2:36 into the game. But after that opening salvo, Ravens goalie Zoe Noorlag made 12 saves the rest of the game.

FPU tied the game six minutes into the second quarter on a goal by Sage Clukey, then took the lead 2:58 after halftime on a goal by Lilyan Zavras.

The Falcons fell to 10-7 overall and 8-3 in NE10 games. They close out the regular season on Saturday at home against Pace. Start time is 1:00 pm.
