Nicholas Bevilacqua and
Colton Cameron each claimed weekly awards from Atlantic Hockey on Tuesday, with Bevilacqua named the Goalie of the Week and Cameron the Defenseman of the Week.
Bevilacqua had two standout games as Bentley swept Canisius over the weekend by scores of 4-1 and 3-0.
A sophomore from Abington, Mass., he earned his first NCAA win on Friday with a 28-save effort. The next night he made 22 saves for the shutout. For the two games combined he posted a .980 save percentage and a 0.50 goals against average.
Cameron, a junior from Cloverdale, British Columbia, scored one goal in each game. On Friday he scored 4:15 into the opening period to tie the game 1-1. His goal on Saturday at 15:34 of the second period made it 2-0 for the Falcons.
Coming off the sweep of Canisius, Bentley next travels out to Mercyhurst for a series starting on Friday night.
