WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's Sydney DeRoche was named the Northeast 10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Monday.

DeRoche scored both goals in Bentley's 2-0 victory over AIC on November 5 which clinched a spot in the NE10 playoffs. She scored in the 9^th and 58^th minutes.

A sophomore from Swampscott, Mass., it's her first career NE10 weekly award.

DeRoche notched eight goals and three assists for 19 points, in 17 games this season.

Her eight goals are tied for third most in the NE10.
