WALTHAM, Mass. – Following its season-opening weekend in New Jersey, the No. 24 Bentley men's basketball team is back in New England for a non-conference game at Southern New Hampshire Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
The Falcons' (1-1) season began at Caldwell, which hosted the CACC/NE10 Challenge (Nov. 14-15). Bentley lost to Dominican (N.Y.) in overtime, 93-89, but then bounced back to top Caldwell, 84-71, the following day.
Osiris Nalls was named the Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week following his debut with Bentley. Nalls scored 17 points and came up with five steals against Dominican (N.Y.) (Nov. 14). The Falcons were trailing by 10 points in the final three minutes of regulation, when Nalls led a comeback charge to forced overtime.
During those crucial three minutes, Nalls scored six points while adding two steals and an assist. The following day at Caldwell, Nalls scored 10 points in 11 minutes.
Cash McClure, an All-NE10 First Team Selection last year, filled the stat sheet in Bentley's opening weekend. He finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, and six assists against Dominican (N.Y.), followed by 17 points, six boards, and six assists against Caldwell.
Cooper Farrall was an All-NE10 Second Team honoree a year ago. He recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds at Caldwell.
Ivan Misic had his 3-point shot going in that game, connecting on four of five attempts from distance.
Chase Clarke began his senior season with a double-double, totaling 19 points and 10 boards against Dominican (N.Y.). Sophomore starting point guard
Jordan Elliott dished out six assists in each of the first two games of the season.
Southern New Hampshire is in the same CACC/NE10 Challenge at Caldwell this past weekend. The Penmen lost to Dominican (N.Y.), 90-76, and beat Caldwell, 91-83.
