Falcons prepare for home-opener against Assumption

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's basketball team makes its 2025-26 home debut Tuesday, Nov. 25, when it hosts Assumption for a non-conference game at 7 p.m.
 
Home show
Dating back to the 2011-12 season, Bentley has won 13 consecutive home-opening games. The run of home-opening success began with a 100-62 win over Felician, Nov. 11, 2011. The 2024-25 home-opener (also the season-opener) was an 85-56 win over Georgian Court.
 
Hangin' with Mr. Cooper
Junior Cooper Farrall notched a double-double in each of Bentley's last two games. He scored 17 points go with 11 rebounds against Caldwell (Nov. 15), and followed that performance with 24 points and 12 boards in a non-conference game at Southern New Hampshire (Nov. 19). Farrall is averaging 16.3 points and 9.3 rebounds through the first three games of the season.
 
The Nalls debut
Osiris Nalls was named the Northeast 10 Rookie of the Week for his performance in the season-opener against Dominican (N.Y.) (Nov. 14). He scored 17 points and swiped five steals in his Bentley debut. Six of those points, and two of the steals, came in the final three minutes of regulation to erase a 10-point deficit and force overtime.
 
Don't leave him
Ivan Misic leads Bentley in 3-point attempts (11) and makes (6) this season. He shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc in the 84-71 win over Caldwell (Nov. 15). Misic shot 44.0-percent in well over 100 3-point attempts last year.
 
Clarke can
Chase Clarke opened his senior season with a double-double against Dominican (N.Y.). He finished the game with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Clarke had two double-doubles last year.

Scouting Assumption (4-0)
The Greyhounds have won their first four games of the season, and they have put up a lot of points in the process. Assumption has eclipsed 90 points in three of those four games. The outlier is an 87-64 win over Chestnut Hill (Nov. 14). Among player to appear in all four games, four average double-digits in scoring this season. Noah Payne is the team's leading scorer with 16.3 points per game, playing exclusively off the bench. Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton averages 16.0 points per game. As a team, Assumption is shooting 55.3-percent from the floor, and 44.2-percet from 3-point range.
