WALTHAM, Mass. – Four players from the Bentley men's soccer team were named All-East Region by the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association.
Michael Haikal and
Luke Mollenhauer were named first team All-Region and
Cam Hall and
Logan Veloria were tabbed to the second team.
All four were instrumental this season as the Falcons won the NE10 regular season championship, reached the NE10 playoff finals and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1975.
Haikal was the NE10 Player of the Year, the first Falcon to win that award since 1999. He notched eight goals and one assist as a midfielder
Mollenhauer was the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year after he helped the Falcons post seven shutouts and a team goals against average of 0.93.
Hall was the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year. He went 11-3-4, posted seven shutouts and ranks 17
th nationally in save percentage (.817).
Veloria, a sophomore forward, had three goals and four assists in 16 matches.
All four student athletes were named first team All-Conference by the NE10.
