WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University graduate forward Maggie Whitmore (South Portland, Maine/South Portland HS) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week following her outstanding performance Saturday in the Falcons' win at Saint Anselm College.
              
In her only game action of the week, Whitmore filled the stat sheet with 17 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists as Bentley clinched the NE10 regular season title with a 50-45 win over the Hawks. She made 7 of 14 shots overall and half of her 6 three-point attempts. Earlier in the week, she missed the Franklin Pierce win due to illness.
              
Whitmore leads the team in scoring at 12.8 per game and also averages 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists. Her shooting line includes .451 overall, .347 from three and .868 at the foul line.
              
In program history, Whitmore ranks 18^th in scoring (1,337 points) and 15^th in rebounds (732).
              
The next game for Division II's fourth-ranked team is Wednesday at St. Michael's College.
