WALTHAM, Mass. – Backed by the program's all-time home run leader, and its top pitcher from a year ago, the Bentley softball team begins its 2025 season in Florida Sunday, March 9. The Falcons play 10 games over the course of six days in the Sunshine State, and it begins with a doubleheader against St. Thomas Aquinas.
Bentley's historic slugging outfielder,
Jordan Krause, enters her senior season with 16 career home runs. The San Pedro, Calif. native has a career .374 batting average to go with a .587 slugging percentage.
Krause was named to the All-Northeast-10 Second Team in 2024, and she garnered All-NE10 First Team in 2023 and 2022.
Pitcher
Riley Piromalli enters her second season with the Falcons after transferring from Ithaca. Her first season with Bentley resulted in an All-NE10 Third Team nod. She posted a 2.37 ERA through 159.1 innings, striking out 130 batters in the process.
Sophomore first baseman
Hailey Feiler is poised to build off of her solid rookie season. Last year, Feiler hit .266 and drew 16 walks to only 11 strikeouts through 94 at-bats. Her .373 on-base percentage led the team in 2024.
The Bentley squad welcomes nine freshmen to Waltham this year, and head coach Terry McDonough expects several to make an immediate impact.
Carly DiMento is positioned to roam centerfield, and
Bella Burke is likely to immediately slide into shortstop – a position that was predominantly held by All-NE10 honoree

Freshman catcher
Maddie Baker will get her fair share of games behind the plate, and fellow classmate
Maddie Pickett will get plenty of work in the circle.
The Falcons' home opener is scheduled for March 27, when Bridgeport visits Bentley for a doubleheader. The first NE10 games of the season are at home – a doubleheader against St. Anselm March 29.
