WALTHAM, Mass. – Three members of the Bentley softball team earned Northeast 10 honors for the 2026 season, the conference announced Wednesday.
Bella Burke was named to the All-NE10 Second Team,
Becca Harris was named to the NE10 All-Defensive Team, and
Taylor Zajac was named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team.
Burke finished the season as Bentley's leading hitter, posting a .339 batting average for her sophomore campaign. She also led the team in runs scored with 29. Burke hit her first-career home run April 22 – a walkoff solo shot to beat Southern New Hampshire. The second baseman hit her second home run against Southern Connecticut.
Harris, also a sophomore, is no stranger to NE10 accolades. She was named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team in 2025. Harris hit .298 overall this year, and she really turned it on in the final weeks of the season. Harris hit .500 (17-for-34) in her final 12 games of 2026.
Zajac was a revelation in the circle for Bentley. She was one of eight pitchers in the conference throw at least 120 innings (123.0). Among that group, her 3.30 ERA ranked fifth. Zajac worked 12 complete games in her first collegiate season. She was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week (April 20) after earning two wins over Adelphi – both of which were complete games.
