Burke, Morrison, Harris and Pickett named CSC Academic All-District

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Bella Burke, Jess Morrison, Becca Harris and Maddie Pickett were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for softball.

The Academic All-District teams recognize a select group of student-athletes in all four NCAA divisions for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. A student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA to be eligible.

Burke is a sophomore infielder who was named second team All-Northeast 10. She led the Falcons in batting average (.339) and on-base percentage (.431).

Morrison, a junior outfielder, started 45 games and was among the team leaders in runs scored, doubles and RBI.

Harris was named to the NE10 All-Defensive team. She started 52 games at third base and batted .298. She was second on the team in hits (42) and third in total bases (56).

Pickett started 15 games in the circle for Bentley and had 23 total appearances. She earned four wins, had three complete games and picked up two saves.
