Defensive miscues give way to 13-2 loss to New Haven

LANTANA, Florida – The Bentley baseball team committed six errors that led to 11 unearned runs in a 13-2 non-conference loss against New Haven Saturday.

Bentley starting pitcher Jayden Longdin worked just four innings, despite allowing only one earned run. Justin Posnik, Gabe White, and Ryan Micari combined to allow one earned run in five innings out of the bullpen.

Brendan Sencaj and Jake Maydak both drove in a run for the Falcons. Sencaj hit an RBI single in the third inning, and Maydak lifted a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Tommy Bolton scored both of Bentley's runs.

The Falcons' Florida trip continues Sunday, March 9, with an 11 a.m. game against Lynn.
