WALTHAM, Mass. -
Cami Ayandele and
Olivia Matthews both scored their first career goals as Bentley women's soccer defeated Queens College 2-0 at home on Saturday.
The win extended Bentley's home unbeaten streak to 12 games at 7-0-5.
Ayandele, a sophomore from Colorado, gave the Falcons 1-0 lead in just the fourth minute. Freshman Anna Vigue sent in a cross from the deep left corner of Bentley's attacking end and
Ayandele redirected the cross into the back of the net for the goal.
Bentley dominated possession and shots on goal throughout the contest and they finished the day with a 10-1 advantage in shots on goal.
Matthews, a freshman, made it 2-0 in the 76th minute with a shot from long distance that found the top corner.
McKay Pratt and
Rose Frisoli had the assists.
Bentley improved to 2-1-1 with the win. They next play on Tuesday at Daemen University.
