Women's cross country returns to competition at UMass Dartmouth

WALTHAM, Mass. – Following a week off from competition, the Bentley women's cross country team is ready for the 52nd annual UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday, Sept. 20.

Molly Capece, Leesil Gilbert, Delia Kelly, Marisa Rayhill, Julia Rubin, Lily Tedford, Riley Hamel, Gracie Pointer, and Isabella Rotondo are expected to run in the 6K for the Falcons.

Races are scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.

Bentley began the 2025 season by placing third overall in the Hartford Invitational (Sept. 20). Tedford notched a top-10 finish, as her  3K time of 11:20.8 was good for ninth place. Capece and Samantha Doran finished just outside of the top-10. Capece was 11th with a time of 11:36.3, and Doran was 12th with a time of 11:43.6.

Following this weekend, Bentley's next meet is the New England Championships in Hopkinton, N.H. (Oct. 10).
