WALTHAM, Mass. – Steven D'Alessandro won the 3,000-m, and 13 members of the Bentley men's track & field earned top 10 finishes in the Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational hosted by Brandeis Saturday afternoon.
Results
D'Alessandro's time in the 3,000-m was 8:41.12.
Michael Eddy was eighth in the race with a time of 8:57.34.
Four Falcons were among the top 10 in the mile.
Rocco Bueti was second overall with a time of 4:35.01.
Ryan Orr placed fourth with a time of 4:36.13, and Mas Behl was seventh by crossing the finish line in 4:38.48.
Akhilesh Maqtedar cracked the top 10 by placing ninth (4:41.04).
Three Falcons placed top 10 in the 60-m.
Eli Batista (7.18) and
Eman Nda (7.19) finished third and fourth, respectively.
Ethan Thorne was ninth with a time of 7.24 seconds.
Alex Gowzdz placed eighth in the 300-m dash, timing in at 37.39 seconds.
Paul Zorn's 1,000-m time of 2:42.77 was good for ninth.
Donald Dumont and
Gabriel Appiah tied for ninth in the long jump, as they both cleared 5.88-m.
Overall, Bentley placed second out of eight teams, totaling 92 points.
The Falcons' next meet is the Gordon Kelley Invitational hosted by MIT, Jan. 24.
