WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's basketball team aims to continue its success on its home court when the Falcons host a Northeast 10 game against Adelphi Saturday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m. Bentley (11-6, 4-2 NE10) is 5-2 at home this season.

The midweek trip to N.Y.
Bentley had its lowest scoring game of the season when it lost at Pace, 53-49, earlier this week (Jan. 21). The Falcons shot 20.8-percent from 3-point range (5-for-24), and 36.5-percent from the floor (19-for-52). Cooper Farrall scored a team-high 13 points, Joe Carroll scored 12 points off the bench, and Cash McClure grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds.

Beasts of the boards
Bentley continues to lead the NE10 in rebounding. It is the only team averaging more than 40 rebounds per game (40.8). The Falcons have been outrebounded only three times through 17 games this season. Cooper Farrall ranks fourth in the NE10 for rebounding (8.8), Cash McClure is seventh (7.5), and Chase Clarke is ninth (7.2). Bentley is the only NE10 with three player who rank among the conference's top 10 in rebounding.

The marksman
Sophomore Mantas Zilys leads the NE10 in 3-point shooting, connecting on 49.0-percent of his attempts from distance this season. No other NE10 player is shooting better than 47.0-percent from 3-point range. Zilys is averaging 10.4 points per game this season while playing exclusively off the bench.

Cashing in free ones
Cash McClure is one of only 20 players in the country shooting at least 90.0-percent from the free-throw line. His mark of 90.4-percent ranks 17th in NCAA DII, and first in the NE10.

The double-double count
Cooper Farrall has a team-leading seven double-doubles this season, while Cash McClure has five, and Chase Clarke has three.

Stout on defense
Bentley's defense is limiting opponents to 39.2-percent shooting from the floor, which is the best defensive mark in the NE10. The defense is a big factor in Bentley's conference-leading +7.3 scoring margin.

Scouting Adelphi (13-5, 5-3 NE10)
The Panthers' most recent game was a 71-57 loss at Southern Connecticut (Jan. 21), which ended a three-game winning streak. Adelphi's scoring defense ranks second in the NE10 by yielding just 67.1 points per game. Likewise, the Panther' field-goal percentage (48.3-percent) ranks second in the conference. Dayshaun Walton is the NE10's sixth-leading scorer (15.1), and Al-Fatir Connor's average of 4.3 assists per game ranks second in the conference.
