WALTHAM, Mass. – The second half of the Northeast 10 slate for the No. 21 Bentley women's basketball team begins Tuesday, Jan. 27, when the Falcons travel to Saint Michael's. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The Falcons begin the week 9-0 in the NE10, and 13-2 overall.

The first time around
Bentley's home opener this season was against Saint Michael's (Dec. 6). The Falcons came away with a 72-61 win.
Niya Morgen scored 25 points in that game, which remains her season high.

Kayana Armbrister (11) also scored in double figures.

Julia Elie totaled a career-high five blocks during Bentley's 67-49 win over Saint Michael's (Jan. 24). She also scored 12 points with seven boards in the win. Elie ranks third in the NE10 for blocks per game (1.1), and she ranks seventh in field-goal percentage (47.6-percent).

Doubling up on double-doubles
Kayana Armbrister notched her second double-double of the season against Adelphi (Jan. 24), scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Her first double-double was at Saint Anselm (Jan. 7). For the season, Armbrister is averaging 12.6 points and 6.6 rebounds.

Cassidy Yeomans ranks fifth in the NE10 for assists per game (3.5), and she's tied for the conference lead in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0). Yeomans had a career-high 11 assists against American International this season (Jan. 14).

Niya Morgen leads the Falcons in scoring with 14.6 points per game. That mark also ranks seventh in the NE10. Among all conference players, Morgen also ranks top 10 in both field-goal percentage (46.2-percent, 9

Scouting Saint Michael's (9-8, 4-5 NE10)
The Purple Knights enter Tuesday's game with consecutive losses against American International (Jan. 21) and Southern Connecticut (Jan. 24). The team's defense is allowing 62.5 points per game, which is the second-highest opponent scoring average in the NE10. Jayla Tyler's 6.8 rebounds per game ranks seventh in the conference. She is also Saint Michae's leading scorer, averaging 12.2 points per game. Margaret Montplaisir is averaging 11.8 points per game.
