MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Bentley rallied from two goals down to tie Robert Morris 3-3 on Saturday night. They dropped the shootout to the Colonials, 1-0.
Trailing 3-1 after a goal at 3:19 of the second frame by RMU's Patrick Johnson, the Falcons scored twice to knot the game up.
At the 11:05 mark of the second,
Oskar Bakkevig ripped in a shot from the right faceoff circle after taking a feed from
Garrett Horsager for a power play goal.
Peter Kramer then tied the score at the 16:51 mark of the second. Defenseman
Jack Dalton kept the puck in the offensive zone before it went over the blue line and put the puck on net.
Kramer fought through traffic to get his stick on it for the tip-in goal.
Tied 3-3, neither team scored over the remaining 28 minutes of regulation and overtime.
Bentley's penalty kill came up with a big stop after a penalty with 1:24 left in regulation. The RMU power play stretched into overtime.

Lukas Swedin finished the night with 20 saves, five of which came in overtime.
In the shootout, RMU's Cameron Garvey scored in the first round for the only goal of the shootout.
RMU led 1-0 after the first period, and the team's traded goals in the first 3:19 of the second period.
Dalton scored a power play goal for Bentley at the 1:40 mark, with
Jake Black on the assist to extend his points streak to nine games.
The Falcons finished January with a 5-1-4 record and 4-1-2 on the road.
Bentley (14-7-5, 12-2-4 AHA) is back on the road next Friday to open a home-and-home series at Holy Cross.
