BOSTON, Mass. – Several Bentley runners posted season best times in their events as the men's track and field team competed in meets at Harvard and Boston University this weekend.
The Falcons began the weekend at the Harvard Invitational on Friday competing against a mix of athletes from all three divisions.
Sophomore Will Reiser was Bentley's top overall finisher, as he was 19
th in the 800 with a time of 2:01.53.
Eman Nda was the team's top finisher in the 60 meter dash (7.06) and
Pape Anne was the top finisher in the 200 meter (23.73). Freshman
Alex Gwozdz ran the team's best time of the season in the 400 at 51.71.
In the long jump, sophomore
Donald Dumont had Bentley's best jump at 5.86 meters.
On Saturday the venue shifted to Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic.
Several runners posted the fastest time by a Falcon in the indoor season in their event.
Eli Batista ran 23.00 in the 200 meter,
Rocco Bueti ran 4:29.72 in the one mile and
Steven D'Alessandro ran 14:56.08 in the 5000.
Bentley next competes on February 7 at the Riverhawk Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell at the New Balance track in Boston.
