The right adjustments
The Falcons (7-2, 3-0 NE10) went four weeks between conference games before hosting – and beating – Southern Connecticut in Waltham Sunday (Jan. 4). Bentley trailed by two points at halftime, but the Falcons erupted for 27 points in the third quarter on their way to a 75-62 win.

Cherish these moments
Freshman
Cherish Bryant scored a season-high 14 points off the bench in Bentley's win over SCSU. She shot 6-for-10 from the floor and added four assists. It was her second time scoring in double figures. The first was in her collegiate debut, when Bryant had 10 points in the season-opener against Mercy (Nov. 15).

Kayana on one
Junior transfer
Kayana Armbrister scored a career-high 29 points against Daemen (Jan. 1), and she followed that act with 13 points against SCSU. Armbrister had nine rebounds in both games. She started the season with only 10 points through her first two Bentley games. Since then, however, Armbrister is averaging 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds.

Julia Elie's 56.5 field-goal percentage ranks second in the NE10, and
Niya Morgen's 51.1-percent is fourth. Overall, Bentley is the only NE10 team shooting better than 43.0-percent from the floor (46.6-percent).

Yo, Cass!
Cassidy Yeomans is heating up for Bentley. The senior captain has scored in double figures in two of the past three games. She had 15 points against Holy Family (Dec. 21), and 13 points against Southern Conn. (Jan. 4). Yeomans scored in single figures in each of the first six games of the season.

Scouting Saint Anselm (6-1, 1-1 NE10)
The Hawks recently suffered their first loss of the season at Adelphi, 53-51 (Jan. 4). Tatum Forbes is the conference's leading scorer, averaging 19.6 points per game. She also leads the NE10 in assists with 5.7 per game. Kaitlin McDonough is the NE10's top rebounder with 10.1 boards per game, and she leads the NE10 in blocks (2.4).
