MANCHESTER, N.H. – Cash McClure and
Cooper Farrall both finished with a double-double at Saint Anselm, but the Benley men's basketball team lost to the Hawks, 78-70, Wednesday night.
McClure had a team-high 19 points to go with 11 rebounds, while Farrall totaled 16 points and 12 boards. It was the fourth double-double of the season for McClure, and the seventh for Farrall.

Jordan Elliott hit a jumper to cut the Saint Anselm (10-3, 3-0 NE10) lead to 28-20. Following a defensive stop, McClure hit a 3-pointer to bring the Falcons to within five points.
A couple minutes later,
Osiris Nalls drilled the 3-pointer to make it a two-point game in favor of the Hawks.
Bentley kept the pressure on early in the second half, as a McClure 3-pointer gave the Falcons 44-42 lead. It was Bentley's first advantage on the scoreboard since the score was 6-5.
The Falcons' second-half lead was short lived, however. The Hawks went out in front, 53-52, with 12:27 on the clock, and they didn't relinquish the lead for the rest of the game.
Bentley returns home Saturday, Jan. 10, to host Franklin Pierce at 3:30 p.m.
