Waltham, Mass. – Abi Hennessey received the Northeast 10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week award after scoring three goals in two Bentley wins last week.

Hennessey notched both goals in the 2-0 victory over Roberts Wesleyan on October 14. She then scored the opening goal in the 12^th minute of Saturday's big 2-1 victory over Saint Michael's.

Hennessey became the first Bentley player since 2016 to reach double digit goals in a season. With 11 on the season, she is two away from breaking the program's single-season record, set by Lisa Tisbert in 2001.

This is Hennessey's first career NE10 Player of the Week award.

The two wins last week improved Bentley's record to 10-1-2 overall and 3-1-2 in NE10 matches. Ranked #16 nationally, they next host Pace on Tuesday at 3:00 pm.
