WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley is in the semifinals of the Northeast 10 Men's Soccer Championship for the second straight season, and they will look to book a return trip to the finals when they face American International on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.

The game will be streamed on FloCollege

Bentley, the #3 seed, won its first round game on Saturday 3-1 over Assumption. They jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half with goals by Antonio Di Gaudio, Michael Cagno and Gamaliel Ortiz.

The #2 seeded Yellow Jackets defeated Adelphi 1-0 in the first round.

The other NE10 semifinal on Wednesday pits the #1 seed Southern New Hampshire against the #5 seed Franklin Pierce.

The Falcons (8-5-3) are hitting their stride at the right time. They have won three matches in a row and four out of five. They'll face an AIC squad that has been strong at home this season with a 7-0-3 record in 10 contests played in Springfield.

Bentley is 4-3-1 in eight away games this season.

The regular season matchup between these teams was played in Waltham on September 26, and AIC escaped with a 1-0 win in a game that was played in heavy rain.

The Falcons are looking for their second straight trip to the NE10 finals. Last season they defeated Adelphi on penalty kicks. They have been to the finals eight previous times in the program's history.

This will be the first ever postseason matchup between the two programs, who have played 52 times prior in the series' history.

The NE10 championship match is scheduled for Saturday and will be hosted by the highest remaining seed.
