BOSTON – The Bentley women's track & field team made its first appearance of the season at the TRACK at New Balance when the Falcons competed in the UMass Lowell River Hawk Invitational Friday. It is the venue for the Northeast 10 Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 19-20).

Results

Competing in the 400-m open, Hannah Croteau placed 11^th out of 31 runners when she crossed the finish line in 1:04.16. Riley Mahoney (1:04.70) placed 15^th in the event, and India Haynesworth (1:04.81) was 17^th.

Samantha Doran just barely finished outside of the top 10 in the 5K. She timed in at 18:33.53, good for 11^th out of 30 runners. Her time bested a handful of Division-I runners.

The 800-m field consisted of 79 runners, and Amelia Luetjen finished 25^th with a time of 2:24.31.

Bentley's next meet is the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University, Feb. 14.
