FROSTBURG, Md. - #12 ranked Bentley men's lacrosse fell at Frostburg State 11-7 on Wednesday night in a non-conference game.
Charlie David had a hat trick for the Falcons.
Frostburg used a 6-0 run that spanned the second and third quarters to open up a 9-2 lead.
Bentley responded with a 4-0 run that was capped by a goal from David with 5:17 remaining.
That cut the deficit to 9-6, but the Falcons were unable to score again until David struck with 39 seconds remaining. Frostburg scored twice before then at the 1:41 and 1:02 marks.
Dante D'Amico went 18-20 in the faceoff circle with 13 ground balls for Bentley.
The Falcons (2-2) next play on Saturday against Franklin Pierce at noon in Waltham.
