WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley goalie
Lauren Rochel was named the IWLCA's Division II National Defensive Player of the Week.
In 90 minutes of game time across two contests, Rochel had a .741 save percentage and a 4.67 goals against average.
In Saturday's 14-7 road win over Assumption, she made 16 stops and posted a .696 save percentage.
Earlier in the week, she turned away four shots and helped the Falcons record a shutout of Felician in a 22-0 victory.
Rochel, a junior from Wantagh, New York, was also the Northeast 10 Goalie of the Week.
Bentley's next game is at home on Wednesday against Southern New Hampshire.
