Bentley 7, Pace 6
The Falcons (17-7, 9-2 NE10) held a 6-5 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, but Pace sent six batters to the plate in the final stanza as the Setters (10-11, 5-6 NE10) ultimately won the game with a walk-off single.
Bentley's bats jumped on Pace early in the game.
Nick Pappas hit an RBI double in the first inning, and the Falcons added two more runs in the second inning.
Brian Hersh hit a double that scored
Jimmy Mitchell from first base. Hersh tagged up and reached third base on a flyout by
David VanderZouwen, and a passed ball allowed Hersh to come home from there.
Pace tied the game, 3-3, at the end of the fifth inning, but Bentley quickly reclaimed the lead in the sixth.
Nick Pappas led off with a single, and he moved up a base when Stan DeMartinis reached base on an error. Pappas came in to score on a single hit by
Brendan Sencaj. Mitchell drew a walk to load the bases, and Hersh followed with a walk of his own to push Bentley's lead to 5-3.
The Setters tied the game in the bottom of the sixth, but Sencaj hit another RBI single in the top of the seventh.
Jared Berardino, Pappas, and Sencaj finished with two hits, each.

Bentley 9, Pace 5
Jared Berardino's ninth homer of the season was a solo shot in the first inning, and Goonan's first home run of the year was a two-run job in fourth inning as the Falcons won the second game Saturday.
Goonan's homer broke a 3-3 tie, and he added another RBI with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.
Sam Belliveau improved to 5-0 on the season after striking out eight batters in his 6.1-inning start. He is one of only two pitchers in the NE10 with at least five wins and no losses.
Berardino would be the Northeast 10 leader in home runs were it not for teammate
Stan DeMartinis III, who has 12 homers this season.
Bentley and Pace finish their weekend series with a single game Sunday, March 29, at 12 p.m.
