WALTHAM, Mass. – Following a series win at Pace, the No. 19/30 Bentley baseball team returns to Waltham for a Northeast 10 game against Assumption Tuesday, March 31, at 3:30 p.m.

Cruising through conference
Bentley (18-7, 10-2) has won all three of its conference series so far this season. The Falcons won three out of four at Franklin Pierce (March 14-15) and at Pace (March 28-29), the Bentley Swept Southern New Hampshire at home in between.

In the ranks
Per last week's national polls, Bentley is ranked No. 19 in the nation by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), and the Falcons are No. 30 according to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). Neither organization has released this week's ranks as of this writing. However, Bentley remains No. 1 in the region this week according to the NCBWA.

That makes a baker's dozen, Bob
Stan DeMartinis III crushed his 13th home run of the season at Pace Sunday (March 29). He is the only NE10 player with at least 10 home runs this season, and he leads the conference in RBI (39).

Bullish on Berardino
Jared Berardino ranks second in the NE10 for both home runs (9) and doubles (10). His .724 slugging percentage ranks third in the conference.

Givin' 'em the heebie-jeebies
Pat Heber pitched eight shutout innings in one of Bentley's wins at Pace this past weekend (March 27). He struck out seven while allowing only three hits and two walks. Although Heber has a 5.14 ERA this season, he holds a 3.32 ERA through his three conference games.

The key from the bullpen
Keegan Antelman has been phenomenal out of the bullpen through his last seven appearances. During that stretch, he holds a 0.69 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 13.0 innings.

Hey you guys

Senior catcher Tommy Goonan hit his second career home run at Pace (March 28). After posting a .302 batting average through 43 at-bats last season, Goonan has a .405 batting average through 42 at-bats this season.

Scouting Assumption (7-15, 3-9 NE10)
The Greyhounds enter Tuesday's game after losing three of four games at Franklin Pierce (March 27-29). Assumption holds the conference's worst team batting average (.244), on-base percentage (.339), and slugging percentage (.346). Michael Caron leads Assumption in hitting (.333) and home runs (2). The pitching staff's 7.53 ERA is second-to-last in the NE10.
