WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley baseball team makes a return to Florida for the Lynn Invitational, March 6-10. The Falcons conclude their trip at Palm Beach Atlantic, March 11. Bentley has one game each day of the trip. It all begins with a 10:30 a.m. first pitch against Post Friday, March 6.

Bentley bashers
The Falcons have already belted 14 home runs through seven games this season. That total easily leads the Northeast 10, as Southern Connecticut has the second-most home runs with eight. What's more, Bentley currently leads the NE10 in batting average (.329), slugging (.573), and on-base percentage (.448).

One-two punch
Jared Berardino and
Stan DeMartinis III are tied for the NE10 lead in home runs. They both have four dingers through seven games this season. Berardino has 11 RBI, and DeMartinis has 10.

Van the man
David VanderZouwen is hitting .481 this season, and his five doubles are tied for second in the conference. He also has a couple of homers to his name in 2026.

Graduate transfer
Sam Belliveau is making an immediate impact for Bentley, as he already has an NE10 Pitcher of the Week honor under his belt. Making his first start of the season against Bridgeport (Feb. 21), Belliveau allowed just two earned runs through six innings. He struck out nine and walked none. His first appearance was out of the bullpen at Lynn (Feb. 7). Belliveau, a former Division-I pitcher at UMass-Amherst, struck out six in four innings while allowing just one run in his Bentley debut.

Through 58 innings this season, the Bentley pitching staff has recorded 68 strikeouts, which comes out to 10.55 K/9IP. Last year, Bentley posted 6.79 K/9IP.
Bolton's bases on balls
Leadoff hitter Tomy Bolton has already drawn 10 walks this season, which leads the NE10. Bolton drew 43 walks last season, which was the second-best total in the conference.
