WALTHAM, Mass. – The most powerful offense in the Northeast 10 is home this weekend as the No. 18/24 Bentley baseball team hosts Saint Michael's for a four-game conference series, April 11-12. It is the Falcons' Think Pink weekend.

Bentley (22-8, 14-4 NE10) is tied with Southern New Hampshire (22-9, 14-4 NE10) for first place in the NE10. Those two teams have a three-game lead over Adelphi (15-12, 11-7 NE10) and Saint Michael's (13-14, 11-7 NE10). Saint Anselm (11-14, 9-8 NE10) is the only other NE10 team with a conference record over .500.

Nick Pappas has 10 multi-hit efforts in his last 12 games. During that stretch he is hitting .511 (24-for-47) with 15 runs, six doubles, and two homers. Overall, Pappas ranks eighth in the NE10 for hitting this season (.388).

All Hail King Heber
Pat Heber became Bentley's all-time strikeout leader in his last start on the mound. Pitching at home against Southern Connecticut (April 3), Heber broke the Rob Finneran '12 record of 229 strikeouts. Heber struck out a career-high 11 batters in that win over Owls.

Can't hit the 'Brod side
Zach Eigenbrod tied a program record when he struck out 15 batters in his last start against Southern Connecticut (April 3). Luke Dawson was the first Falcon to reach 15 strikeouts in a game. He did so against Saint Michael's in 2017.

Freshman
Dylan Lawrence made his first career collegiate start on the mound at Assumption this week (April 8), and he did not disappoint. Lawrence struck out a season-high seven batters and allowed just one run in five innings.

Scouting Saint Michael's (13-14, 11-7 NE10)
The Purple Knights have a five-game winning streak, and they've won six of their last seven. Still, the team's 7.98 ERA ranks last in the NE10, and its .949 fielding percentage is second-to-last. Jack Pattison is Saint Michael's leading hitter with a .352 batting average. Max Kolifrath has a team-high five home runs, and Richard Gilboy's 28 RBI leads the Purple Knights.
