Nda breaks own school record in 100 meter

Eman Nda
HOOKSET, N.H.- Senior Eman Nda broke his own school record in the 100 meter at the Southern New Hampshire Ed Daniels Classic on Saturday.

In the prelims Nda ran a 10.81, breaking the school record of 10.87 he set on March 26.

Nda then won 100 finals with a time 10.53, which is the fastest in the Northeast 10 this season. That time won him the race by .07 seconds in the eight-man field.

With the wind clocked at 3.8m/s, that time doesn't count as the school record.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Hayden MacArthur finished second in the 800 meter with a time of 1:53.85.

The 1500 saw three Falcons finish in the top-eight. Steven D'Alessandro was fourth (4:04.91), Rocco Bueti was sixth (4:08.64) and Anthony Cronin was eighth (4:16.42).

On Friday at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Central Connecticut, three Bentley runners competed in the 10,000 meter.

Max Lampe was the team's top finisher in 15th in the 40-runner field. Mason Behl was 18th and Jeff Warnock was 21st.
