WALTHAM, Mass. – The reigning Northeast 10 Championship volleyball team, and three-time reigning NCAA Regional Champion, is favored to win the conference again in 2026. The NE10 Coaches' Poll has Bentley as the #1 team heading into the new season.

The Falcons totaled 80 points in the poll, including eight first-place votes. Adelphi claimed two first-place votes and totaled 72 points to finish second in the poll. American International came in third with 66 points.

The Falcons are coming off a historic 2025 season in which they won their first NE10 title since 2019. The squad also reached the NCAA Championship Quarterfinals for the third consecutive year.
Through the past three seasons, Bentley has an overall record of 78-19 (.804). That stretch includes a 33-2 record (.943) at home.

Bentley closed out the 2025 season ranked No. 22 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) national poll. The Falcons return AVCA All-Region honorees Sophia Poehlein, Tory Vitko, and Lulu Pavan.

The Falcons' 2026 season begins by hosting the Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament, Aug. 27-29. Bentley then travels west for its second consecutive appearance in the prestigious Colorado Premier Challenge, Sept. 4-5.
