WALTHAM, Mass. - Two Bentley Falcons were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watchlist before the 2026 season gets underway, Layla Conway and Avery Frommer. The NFHCA also ranked the Falcons #9 in its preseason poll.

The 2026 NFHCA Watchlist recognizes field hockey student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered among those with strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-American consideration this season.

Student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and must have earned qualifying field hockey recognition within the previous two years, such as All-Region or All-Conference. A defender, Frommer was named both second team All-Region and All-Conference in 2025. Conway, a forward, was voted third team All-Conference.

The Falcons are also ranked #9 in the preseason poll after making the NCAA Tournament and getting to double overtime of the NE10 championship game.
