WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley field hockey has three away games this week, starting on Wednesday night at Assumption. The Falcons then face #6 Bloomsburg on Saturday and Mercy on Sunday.
Bentley got its four-game road swing off to a good start last week with a 5-1 victory at Saint Michael's. Five different players scored in the win,
Kaitie Ryan,
Emily Stagnone,

Madeline Krepelka and
Mia Gallinelli. For Ryan, a first-year player from Scituate, Mass., it was her first NCAA goal.
Wednesday's non-conference game at Assumption will be the first of two meetings this season. They will play the NE10 matchup in Waltham on Oct. 27.
Bentley won two of three meetings last season against the Greyhounds, including a 3-1 victory in Worcester in the NE10 semifinals.
The all-time series is 55-20-1 in Bentley's favor.
Bloomsburg is off to a 6-0 start this season, including wins over NE10 teams SNHU, Saint Anselm, Adelphi and Franklin Pierce. They won their most game 7-0 over D'Youville on September 20.
Mercy was formerly an NE10 associate member in field hockey before they departed for the ECC after last season. Bentley is 7-0 all-time against the Mavericks. They won last season's game on the road 5-3 with three unanswered goals in the third and fourth quarters.
After their road trip, the Falcons have two straight at home on September 30 against Franklin Pierce and October 3 against Saint Anselm.
