CONCORD, N.H. – For the second time in as many tournaments, the Bentley men's golf team took first place. The Falcons won the Granite State Opener - hosted by Southern New Hampshire - at Beaver Meadow Golf Course.

The two-round tournament concluded Thursday, with the Falcons shooting 288-289-577. They finished seven strokes ahead of second-place SNHU.

Bentley's first tournament win of the season was the American International Yellow Jacket Invitational. That was the program's first tournament win since 2021.

Braden Yeomans tied for second overall in the Granite State Opener. The sophomore shot 66-75-141, as his first-round score is a Bentley record. He landed four birdies and two eagles in that opening round. Yeomans' first eagle was on the par-5 second hole. He also needed just two strokes on the par-4 18^th hole.

Kantowski shot 73-68-141 to match Yeomans in second place. His second-round score was one stroke off from his personal best as a Falcon. Kantowski's big second-round improvement included seven birdies. Two of those birdies were on par-5 holes (holes 2 and 10).

Timmy Adams placed fourth overall in the Granite State Opener. He shot 71-71-142. Adams made six birdies in the first round, and three in the second. He also cut his bogies down from five to two.

Bentley has a quick turnaround when it competes in the Penmen Invitational, Sept. 28-29, at Concord Country Club in New Hampshire.
