WALTHAM, Mass. – Second half goals by
Campbell Miller and
Abi Hennessey and another strong defensive effort lifted #24 Bentley women's soccer to a 2-0 win at D'Youville.
The win improved the Falcons' record to 4-0 on the season and they've had shutouts in three matches.
Miller's goal in the 65
th minute broke a scoreless tie and was assisted by
Cami Ayandele and
Rose Frisoli.
Just over nine minutes later, Hennessey's second goal of the season made it 2-0.
Goalkeeper
Holly DiPalo made three saves for her third shutout of the season. Collectively, Bentley outshot D'Youville 32-5 and 14-3 in shots on goal.
The Falcons next play on September 13 against Daemen University for their home opener.
