WALTHAM, Mass. – A stellar November earned
Connor Hasley the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Month award, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Hasley went 6-1 in seven starts and four of his wins were shutouts. He first blanked RIT in a 5-0 Bentley victory on Nov. 8. That was followed by three consecutive shutouts, against AIC on Nov. 16 in a 3-0 victory and two straight 2-0 shutouts of Air Force on Nov. 22-23.
He also had two wins against Sacred Heart on Nov. 1-2 in a Falcons series sweep.
Overall, Hasley had a .927 save percentage and 1.65 goals against average in November.
The Falcons were outstanding in November and went 7-1 overall. They go into this weekend's series at Mercyhurst with an 8-2 conference record, good for first place, and 9-5-1 overall.
The three consecutive shutouts were the first time a Bentley team has done that. Hasley also tied the program record for shutouts in a single season after only 15 games, and he broke the program record for career shutouts with his seventh against Air Force on Nov. 23.
