Kendra Foley and 
Sydney DeRoche each scored in their first NCAA games to help Bentley down Wilmington 2-0 in the season opener on Thursday.
Foley scored just 30 seconds before halftime to give Bentley a 1-0 lead. She made a late run into the penalty area and shot home a cross that came from the left wing.
In the 53
rd minute DeRoche, who nearly scored in the first half only to be denied by the Wilmington keeper, gave the Falcons a 2-0 lead.
Sydney O'Connor played a long ball from midfield into the 18 yard box that DeRoche got on the end of, and a shot from close range beat the Wilmington keeper for the goal.
Claire Ewen made three saves to earn the win in goal.
Bentley will look to make it a 2-0 start to the season on Saturday when they host Molloy in the second game of the Kickoff Tournament.
