WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley women's soccer returns to Yetten Field for a Saturday night game against D'Youville at 7:00 pm.
This will be Bentley's fourth game all-time on Yetten Field under the lights with the team holding a 2-1 record in these matches.
The series began in 2021 and they have won the last two games; over New Haven in 2022 (3-0) and in 2024 over AIC (2-0). In last season's win over the Yellow Jackets,
Abi Hennessey and
Sydney DeRoche were the goal scorers.
Bentley (3-4-2) is coming off a 1-0 road win over Assumption on Wednesday night. Freshman
Olivia Matthews scored the game's only goal in the 2
nd minute and the defense shutdown the Greyhounds the rest of the way.
The Falcons have won all of their games this season with a clean sheet.
D'Youville (2-5-2) competes in the East Coast Conference. They are coming off a 1-1 tie against Roberts Wesleyan on Tuesday.
This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs.
Following Saturday's game Bentley is back on the road on Wednesday against St. Thomas Aquinas for another non-conference game. The team is then back at home and on the grass field on October 18 against Southern Connecticut State for Senior Day.
