NE10 Champions to celebrate seniors for regular-season finale Saturday

WALTHAM, Mass. – The 2025 Northeast 10 Champions have one more game before returning to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2021. The Bentley football team hosts American International Saturday, Nov. 15, for a non-conference game that kicks off at 12 p.m.

The regular-season finale will be preceded with a celebration of Bentley's 22 seniors: Chadwick Bailey, Mike Boutros, Austin Calarco, Joshua Compoh, Jon D'Amore, Tyler DeMattio, Jakob Flores, Day Garcia, Dylan Gordon, Patrick Griffin, Jake Guy, James Guy, Jevon Holley, Jake Jackson, Tyler Lane, Eman Nda, Billy Osborn, Nolan Parchesky, Nayvon Reid, Matt Richardson, Henry Schouten, Casey Trodden.

The Falcons earned the NE10 crown, and an automatic to the NCAA Championship, with a thrilling 20-17 win over Assumption in Waltham last week (Nov. 8). The Greyhounds were nationally-ranked No. 24 at the time.

Isaiah Decias totaled 157 receiving yards on six catches against Assumption, coming up just four yards shy of matching his career-high - which he achieved at Saint Anselm (Nov. 1).

Pat Damon had a season-high 94 yards on seven catches, and Luke Warnock completed 18 of 33 passes for 245 yards. He didn't turn the ball over, was sacked only once, and accounted for two of Bentley's three touchdowns.

Henry Schouten led the defensive efforts by totaling 15 tackles, and he recovered a fumble in the first quarter. It was one of two takeaways by the Bentley defense.

Bentley's title run makes the team's 0-3 start to the 2025 season seem like years ago. Crucial factors to the team's turnaround are Warnock's development, Decias' return from injury, Schouten's leadership on defense, and a healthy offensive line.

Warnock is Bentley's first sophomore to start under center since 2018. He began the season with a 56.6 completion-percentage through the season's first three games, averaging 151.7 passing yards to go with 2 touchdown passes and four interceptions.

In the six games since, however, Warnock has 14 touchdown passes to only four picks. During that six-game winning streak, Warnock has a 60.0 completion percentage while averaging 211.7 passing yards per game.

Decias missed the first three games of the season due to an injury, but the Falcons are undefeated this season when the graduate wide receiver is on the field. He has been making a case for NE10 MVP. Decias is averaging 97.3 receiving yards per game, which far and away leads the NE10. No other conference player averages so much as 76 receiving yards per game. His 6.3 catches per game also tops the NE10, while no other players average as much as five per game. Furthermore, Decias' seven touchdown catches rank second in the NE10. Decias was named the NE10 Player of the Week following the title win over Assumption.

Schouten has earned NE10 Defensive Player of the Week three times this season, and has a strong case for NE10 Defensive Player of the Year. His average of 12.4 tackles per game not only leads the NE10, but it ranks third in NCAA DII. Schouten has totaled double-digit tackles in seven games this season, including a high of 17 against Pace (Oct. 25).

Bentley will learn its NCAA Championship first-round opponent during the NCAA Selection Show Sunday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m.
