Lukas Swedin garnered the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month Award for November after a 5-1 month in goal for Bentley.
In six starts, the Stockholm, Sweden native posted a .930 save percentage and a 1.82 goals against average.
He won his first five starts in a row and four of those wins were against Atlantic Hockey opponents. He helped Bentley to wins over Mercyhurst (Nov. 1), Army West Point (Nov. 9 and 25), Alaska Anchorage (Nov. 14) and RIT (Nov. 21). The games against Mercyhurst and Army were on the road.
Swedin had a high of 29 saves in two games, against Mercyhurst in a 7-2 victory and Alaska Anchorage on November 14 in a 2-1 victory.
The Falcons next play on Dec. 5-6 at home against Niagara.
