Field Hockey Prepares for Two Road Games, Looking to Extend Winning Streak

WALTHAM, Mass. – After playing five of its first six games at home, Bentley field hockey heads out on the road for two games this week. The Falcons face Saint Michael's on Wednesday at 6:00 pm and Mercy on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Bentley won both of its games last week as they defeated Assumption 2-1 in a non-conference game and Molloy 5-0 in the NE10 opener.

Gracie Moore and Annie Lorenz both collected weekly awards from the NE10, with Moore named the Player of the Week and Lorenz the Goalie of the Week.

Moore is tied for second in the NE10 with four assists. Also in the top 10 of the NE10 individual stats early in the season is Layla Conway, who is 10th in the conference with three goals.

Lorenz, who earned her first career shutout against Molloy, is second in the NE10 in goals against average (2.08) and third in save percentage (.769).

Bentley defeated both of these teams last season at home. They knocked off Mercy 1-0 and the Purple Knights 5-1.
