WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley baseball team is returning several players from its historic 2025 team, which is a significant factor as to why Northeast 10 coaches picked the Falcons to finish first in the conference, according to the NE10 Baseball Coaches' Poll that was released Wednesday.

Last year, Bentley won a program record 33 games. The previous record was 30 wins, achieved in 2024.

Bentley's key returners this season include Brendan Sencaj, Pat Heber, Zach Eigenbrod, Stan DeMartinis III, and Nick Pappas.

Sencaj was named the NE10 Northeast Division Player of the Year in 2025, while Heber won the division's Pitcher of the Year. Eigenbrod earned Rookie of the Year for the Northeast Division.

DeMartinis and Pappas were both All-NE10 First Team selections in 2025.

The season starts with a trip to Florida, Feb. 6-8, where Bentley takes on Barry, Lynn, and Palm Beach Atlantic.
