WALTHAM, Mass. – The historic 2025 Bentley baseball team landed five academic honors, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced this week.

Brendan Sencaj were each named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Heber and Sencaj are finalists for Academic All-America, which will be announced July 1.
Heber, Pappas, and Sencaj earned All-Northeast 10 First Team honors after helping to lead the Falcons to the winningest season in program history. The 2025 squad totaled 33 wins, becoming the first Bentley team to hit the 30-win mark.
Sencaj was named the NE10 Northeast Division Player of the Year, and Heber earned Northeast Division Pitcher of the Year. Sencaj set Bentley records for hits (86) and runs (62) in a season, and his 67 RBI is the second-best season total in school history. The sophomore hit .411 with 11 home runs and 12 doubles this spring.
Heber posted a 5-3 record with a 3.71 ERA during his junior season. He struck out 76 batters in 77.2 innings, while totaling eight quality starts for the season.
Despite missing two weeks of the season due to injury, Pappas clubbed six homers, 12 doubles, and drove in 41 runs during his senior campaign. He hit .304 with a .557 slugging percentage.
