WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley women's basketball team recently made a key addition to its roster. The Falcons signed Anna from Arlington, Mass., via Team IMPACT.
The official signing took place Sunday, Oct. 25, in The Bentley Arena. The event included a fundraising 5K walk around the arena's concourse. All in all, the Falcons raised $1,243 for Team IMPACT.
"We are so excited to officially welcome Anna to our team," said Bentley sophomore
Kaitlyn Robbins. "We love having her around. She is such a great addition to our team and brings so much energy and excitement to practice and games. She makes all of us want to be better every day."
"We first met Anna and the Bode Family back in December and immediately knew she was going to fit into our family," said Bentley junior
Annie Kiernan. "She brings positivity, happiness, and laughter to our days and we couldn't be happier to have her be our new teammate. It was a great experience to make it official on the day of the 5K. We are 'All In for Anna!'"
Through the past 15 years, Bentley varsity teams have been matched with more than 10 children through Team IMPACT.
