WALTHAM, Mass. – The target on Bentley's back just got bigger. Not long after being selected as the Northeast 10 favorite in the NE10 Coaches' Poll, the Bentley women's basketball team was ranked No. 11 in the nation in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) preseason poll.

Bentley won the NE10 Regular Season Championship in 2025-26, posting a 17-1 record against conference opponents during the regular season. The Falcons were at one point ranked top 10 in the nation last year.

The Falcons finished the season with a 23-5 overall record after earning the program's 40^th NCAA Championship appearance. Head coach C White earned NE10 Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.

The 2026-27 Falcons return three starters from a year ago: seniors Niya Morgen (27 starts) and Kayana Armbrister (27 starts), and junior Brennan Doran (26 starts). Morgen was named to the All-NE10 First Team last year, and she earned All-America Honorable Mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). Armbrister, a transfer from Florida Atlantic, was an All-NE10 Second Team honoree in her first year with Bentley.

A complete 2026-27 Bentley preview will be published next week. The season opener is at home, Nov. 9, against Mercy.
