The Falcons are the #2 seed in the NE10 after earning 20 points from a 6-1-2 record (13-1-2 overall). They are 15
th in the United Soccer Coaches national poll for the second straight week and were ranked as high as #3 on September 29.
A win on Sunday will break the program single season record of 13, set in three different seasons; 1996, 1998 and 2001.
A victory would also advance the Falcons to the NE10 semifinals, where they would host either #3 Saint Michael's or #6 AIC on Thursday, November 5. The championship match is on Sunday, November 8 at the highest remaining seed.
The last time Bentley reached the NE10 finals was 1998, when they won the league title for the first and only time.
In the regular season these teams played to a 0-0 draw in New Haven on October 9, but Bentley held a 14-3 advantage in shots on goal.
The Owls went 3-3-3 in the NE10 regular season (7-4-6 overall) for 12 points to earn the #6 seed. Their most recent match was a 1-0 road win over Assumption on October 28.
Bentley has won five straight matches after a 3-1 road victory over Adelphi in the regular season finale on Wednesday. In that contest, Abi Hennssey broke the program's single season record for goals with her 13
th. The previous record of 12 was set by Lisa Tisbert in 2001 and stood for 25 years.
Hennessey also established a new school record for points in a season. She currently has 33, which is tied for 11
th in Division II.

Rose Frisoli is one assist away from breaking the school single season record of 10, set by Mackenzie Nurse in 2001.
Sunday's game will be just the second postseason matchup between the two programs. The first was the 2002 quarterfinals, which Bentley won 2-1. The Owls lead the all-time series, 15-10-4.
