Box Score WALTHAM, Mass. – It was a Senior Day game in which all five seniors started for the No. 19 Bentley women's basketball team, and the veterans led the Falcons to a 68-46 win over Assumption Saturday afternoon.
Before tipoff, Bentley (18-3, 14-1 NE10) celebrated its seniors and their loved ones:
Mikela Cooper,
Julia Elie,
Quincy Ji,
Andrene Thomas,
Cassidy Yeomans.
Yeomans finished the game with eight points and six assists, while Elie scored 10 points and pulled down five rebounds. It was Elie's fourth consecutive game scoring in double figures, and her sixth such game in the last seven outings.
Niya Morgen came away with her first-career double-double, totaling 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Kayana Armbrister scored 11 points in he winning effort.
The Falcons' defense held Assumption (17-6, 9-6 NE10) to just 32.7-percent shooting from the floor. Bentley nearly doubled up the Greyhounds on the boards, 52-27.
Bentley is back at home Wednesday, Feb. 18, to take on Pace at 5:30 p.m.
