WALTHAM, Mass. – After beating the first-place team in the Northeast 10, the Bentley men's basketball team heads to New Hampshire for a conference game at Franklin Pierce Saturday, Feb. 7. Tipoff is set for 3:30 p.m.

Falcons soar past Hawks
Bentley handed Saint Anselm its second NE10 loss of the season, 85-79, Wednesday night (Feb. 4). Cooper Farrall recorded his ninth double-double of the season by scoring 18 points and pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds. McClure scored a team-high 21 points. Ivan Misic (13 points) and Clarke (12 points) both scored in double figures in the winning effort. Saint Anselm (17-5, 10-2 NE10) remains in first place in the conference standings, while the Falcons enter the weekend tied for third.

Sharp shooting
Bentley's 36.5 3-point percentage leads the NE10, and nobody in the conference is better from distance than Mantas Zilys' mark of 49.2-percent.

Cash on a run
Cash McClure has been on a tear as of late. Ever since an underwhelming performance at Pace (three points in 39 minutes), McClure is averaging 23.8 points per game. He is shooting 51.7-percent from the floor during that four-game stretch. Overall this season, McClure is averaging 16.0 points per game, and his 91.0 free-throw percentage ranks ninth in the nation.

Crash the glass
Bentley remains the top rebounding in the NE10, averaging 39.7 boards per game. Every other NE10 team averages fewer than 39.0 rebounds. Cooper Farrall (8.9) is the conference's third-leading rebounder, while Cash McClure (6.8) and Chase Clarke (6.5) rank ninth and 10th, respectively. Bentley is the only team with three players who rank top 10 in the NE10 for rebounding.

My precious
Benley is the best team in the NE10 at taking care of the rock. The Falcons average only 10.3 turnovers per game. In Wednesday's win over Saint Anselm, Bentley committed only three turnovers – a season best for the Falcons.

Birds battle again
The Falcons beat the Ravens, 67-60, earlier this season in Waltham (Jan. 10). Cash McClure scored 16 points, Ivan Misic had 14, and Joe Carroll net 12 off the bench. Carroll had a perfect game shooting the ball, going 4-for-4 from the floor, 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and 1-for-1 from the foul line.

Scouting Franklin Pierce (6-16, 2-10 NE10)
The Ravens' two conference wins this season are against Saint Anselm (Jan. 17) and American International (Feb. 4). Franklin Pierce's defense allows the second-most points in the NE10 (78.3), and on the other end of the floor the Ravens commit the most turnovers per game (15.4). Raymond Baka ranks seventh in the NE10 for scoring by averaging 15.6 points per game. Baka's average of 8.7 rebounds per game ranks fifth in the NE10.
