WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's
Jake Black was named the Atlantic Hockey Forward of the Week for the third time this season on Wednesday.
Black had three goals and two assists in Bentley's sweep of Mercyhurst in the AHA quarterfinals last weekend.
His goal in triple overtime on Friday ended the longest game in program history. He notched two goals and two assists in that contest, giving him a contribution to all four of Bentley's goals in the 4-3 win.
Black also had a goal on Saturday as the Falcons finished the sweep with a 6-0 victory.
The senior from Pomfret, Connecticut is up to 19 goals and 21 assists on the season as Bentley prepares to host Holy Cross in the semifinals this weekend.
Black was previously the Forward of the Week on January 13 and February 3.
