Three out of four ain't bad
The Falcons won three out of four games against Saint Michael's this past weekend (March 28-29). Bentley totaled 28 runs on 42 hits, and the defense committed only one error all series.

Handling the heat
Maddie Baker hit .615 (8-for-13) against Saint Michael's. She drove in seven runs while posting a ridiculous .923 slugging percentage thanks to her four doubles.

Freshman
Taylor Zajac earned two complete game victories against the Purple Knights, one of which was a five-inning outing. For the weekend, Zajac posted a 2.33 ERA while holding batters to a paltry .196 batting average.

From the nine hole
Bella Burke wreaked havoc batting ninth all series against Saint Michael's. She hit .583 (7-for-12) with a triple, a double, and five runs scored.

J-Mo moves up
Jess Morrison moved up to batting No. 2 in the lineup this past weekend, and she answered the call. Morrison hit .462 (6-for-13), drew a walk, stole a base, and scored six times in four games against Saint Michael's.

Maddie Pickett posted 2.47 ERA through 11.1 innings against Saint Michael's. She struck out eight batters and issued only three walks.

Scouting Assumption (8-15, 3-5 NE10)
The Greyhounds lost three of four games at Adelphi this past weekend. Assumption is tied with Bentley for the fourth-best team batting average (.268) in the NE10. Where they Greyhounds really stand out is on the basepaths. They are 88-105 in stolen base attempts. No other NE10 team has attempted more than 61 steals. Kaitlyn Cahill (14), Kaylee Lacomb (13), and Maddy Bland (12) rank second, third, and fourth, respectively, in the NE10 for stolen bases. Bland's three homers are tied for third in the conference, and her 20 RBI rank fourth.
